OUR WORK

Survivor-Led. Jesus-Focused. Creating Meaningful Change.

The Arizona Human Trafficking Survivor Coalition (AZHTCO) brings survivors together to turn lived experience into meaningful action. Guided by our faith in Jesus Christ, we work to strengthen prevention, education, advocacy, legislation, and long-term survivor protections throughout Arizona.

We believe survivors should have a voice in the decisions, policies, and systems intended to protect those vulnerable to grooming and exploitation.

ADVOCACY & LEGISLATION

Turning Lived Experience Into Change

We work alongside Arizona lawmakers, law enforcement, and community partners to identify gaps in existing laws, advance survivor-informed legislation, strengthen protections, and promote accountability for those who exploit others.

GROOMING PREVENTION & EDUCATION

Recognizing the Warning Signs Before Exploitation Begins

We educate communities about grooming with the intent to exploit, helping parents, educators, professionals, and community members recognize warning signs and understand when and how to intervene.

SURVIVOR VOICES & PROTECTIONS

Survivors Deserve More Than a Seat at the Table

We bring survivor perspectives into conversations about prevention, investigations, legislation, and long-term support. Our work focuses on improving systems and addressing barriers that survivors may face during and after exploitation.

COMMUNITY COLLABORATION

Creating Change Takes All of Us

We collaborate with law enforcement, businesses, churches, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to strengthen awareness, prevention, and survivor protections.

THE S.A.F.E. WORKPLACE PLEDGE

Workplace Ethics Matter

Through our S.A.F.E. Workplace Pledge, we encourage businesses to establish standards that reject the purchase and solicitation of commercial sex, promote accountability, and demonstrate a commitment to freedom from exploitation and ethical employment.

SURVIVOR MEMBERSHIP & LEADERSHIP

Survivors Working Together for Change

AZHTCO provides opportunities for Arizona survivors to collaborate, contribute their knowledge, participate in advocacy, and help shape the direction of our work.

Our leadership is made up of survivors of grooming and human trafficking who understand firsthand why prevention, protection, and accountability matter.

OUR MISSION DOES NOT STOP AT AWARENESS.

We are working to turn awareness into prevention, survivor voices into action, and lived experience into lasting change.
